3rd Kit - Quail Jersey Design

In 2020, Sacramento Republic FC needed a design for their 2021 USL season’s 3rd Kit. What is a 3rd Kit exactly? It’s the 3rd uniform the soccer players wear after their home and away jersey’s, and is meant to demonstrate a special significance, representing a special community cause, inside meaning or symbolism for the team. This year, we decided to make the kit a homage to the fan-favorite mascot, and the California's state bird, the quail. 

Creative Director Sara Molina, and I worked together to create a cohesive kit, merch line & campaign. My role in the project was to create the look and illustrative design of the kit and merch line, and she art direction the campaign and photoshoots.
